Generation 4 Specifications

The following are the recommended minimum requirements to run IMC’s Generation 4 CD-ROM titles.

           REQUIREMENTS FOR Workstation:

•  Pentium II or higher

•  Microsoft Windows 95/98 and NT/2000

•  16 MB RAM, 32 MB RAM recommended

•  8 MB of free hard disk space per IMC course on each workstation

•  Video 1 Meg Dram, 2 Meg Dram recommended

•  Resolution supported 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768

•  Color Depth supported true color and higher

•  CD-ROM drive or Mapped Network Server

•  Sound card

•  Microsoft compatible mouse  

          Space REQUIREMENTS FOR Networking Data or video:

• For the database, 2 MB of free hard disk space is needed on the LAN server.

• For the video, graphics and audio, 650 MB (Per CD-ROM) of free hard disk space is needed on the LAN server.

         BandwidthREQUIREMENTS FOR Networking video:

• 10 mbps backbone you can get up to 6 users at the same time

• 100 mbps backbone you can get up to 66 users at the same time

• 1 gbps backbone you can get up to 666 users at the same time

• 10 gbps backbone you can get up to 6666 users at the same time

• 100 gbps backbone you can get up to 66666 users at the same time
